Why a Comment Policy?
Why a comment policy? Doesn’t the free exchange of ideas work better without limitations? Well, I’ve sometimes found myself being less thoughtful online than in person. A keyboard can sometimes embolden us to say things we wouldn’t face-to-face. This reality underscored the need for some boundaries, leading to this comment policy—and it’s also the rationale behind rule #2. Naturally, this applies to me as well. Please hold me accountable. If you see me breaking my own rules, flag my comments.
Rules for Commenting
To comment on this site, you must consent to the privacy policy and agree to the following rules:
- Comments must be on topic.
- No anonymous comments
- No spam, or other promotion of products or services in the comments.
- Links relevant and that contribute to the discussion at hand are welcome, but must accompanied by further comment. This includes promoting your own blog, video channel, social media profiles, podcast, etc. if it is done in accordance with all rules.
