Welcome to The Uncovered Lamp! My name is Andrew Hansen, and this is my blog. This page is here to help you learn about The Uncovered Lamp. Starting off, Matthew 5:14-16 is where the name comes from. We are to be like a lamp shining in the dark world, pointing people to God. This blog is my attempt to shine the light of Christ through my writing. What does that mean for what you will find on the blog?
Now, what you will find here is commentary on the Christian faith, life, society, and culture from a biblical worldview. Some posts will be pieces covering essentials of the faith or things that I have noticed. Other posts will be commentary on current events and happenings in society and culture. Also, if a post on social media catches my eye, for good or bad, I may write about it. Books I am reading a post in review. Some posts and commentary will be drawn from events in my own life.
